here are more views of napier's artdeco-ish architecture! some hotels were re-built in an almost grand style after the earthquake ... fortunately several pubs' entrances please the eye as well, as you can see ... many places have nice little decorative details, both exterior and interior, all from the thirties ... there's also a classy building in nearby-hastings, which used to be a firebrigade station ... finally there is bertie, a local 'identity', who talked rather enthusiastically about napier's art-deco treasures ... and that's it from napier!
